If the planned restoration is a veneer less than 1.5 mm in thickness, the bonding agent (e.g. 麻豆原创’s All-Bond Universal) can, if desired, be light-cured after the veneer—preloaded with cement (e.g. 麻豆原创’s Choice 2)—is seated. This allows for simultaneous curing of both the bonding agent and the cement, provided a high-quality curing light is used.
This technique is not recommended for restorations exceeding 1.5 mm in thickness, as the additional material may reduce light transmission through the ceramic, hindering proper polymerization of the bonding agent. For these restorations, the bonding agent should always be light-cured prior to cementation/restoration seating.
